Our Purpose
is to. . .

. . .spread the Good News message of Jesus Christ in such a real way that those who are non-Christians might become believers who are fully developed Christ Followers. They will in turn help others become Christians who make disciples. This continued process would include helping new disciples turn into fruitful leaders who go into the whole world and preach the Good News of Jesus Christ.

For I am not ashamed of this Good News about Christ. It is the power of God at work, saving everyone who believes—the Jew first and also the Gentile. - Romans 1:16 (NLT)

Our Beliefs
include. . .

The Holy Scriptures

We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God: true, immutable, steadfast, and unchangeable. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)

The Eternal Godhead

We believe that God is triune: Father, Son and Holy Spirit; the Three are coexistent, coeternal, and equal in divine perfection. (1 John 5:7)

The Fall of Man

We believe that man, created in the image of God, by voluntary disobedience fell into the depths of sin and iniquity, bequeathing sin’s nature and consequences to all mankind, with their accompanying loss of intended meaning and purpose. (Genesis 1:27; Romans 5:12)

The Plan of Redemption

We believe that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us, took our place, and with His life’s blood purchased the pardon for all who believe in Him. (John 3:16; Titus 2:14)

Salvation Through Grace

We believe that salvation is wholly through grace; that no human righteousness or merit can contribute to our receiving God’s love and favor. (Ephesians 2:8)

Repentance & Acceptance

We believe that, upon sincere repentance and a whole-hearted acceptance of Christ, we are justified before God through Jesus’ sacrificial death. (Romans 10:6-10; 1 John 1:9)

The New Birth

We believe that the change that takes place in people at conversion is a very real one; that having received righteousness in Christ and having received of His Spirit, people will have new desires, interests, and pursuits in life. (2 Corinthians 5:17; Galatians 2:20)

Daily Christian Life

We believe that it is the will of God that those who have been born again grow in sanctification, become partakers of His holiness, and daily grow stronger in the faith, power, prayer, love, and service. (2 Corinthians 7:1)

Water Baptism

We believe that being baptized in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit is an essential response to Jesus’ command, testifying to His lordship as Christ and King. (Romans 6:4)

The Lord's Supper

We believe in observing the Lord’s Supper, receiving the broken bread and the fruit of the vine with joy and faith as we partake anew of the life and triumph of Christ’s Cross. (1 Corinthians 11:24-26)

Baptism in the Holy Spirit

We believe that the baptism in the Holy Spirit empowers believers to exalt Jesus, to live lives of holiness, and to be witnesses of God’s saving grace; we expect the Spirit’s incoming to be after the same manner as that in which He came upon believers in the days of the Early Church. (Acts 1:5; Acts 1:8; Acts 2:4)

The Spirit-Filled Life

We believe that it is the will of God that believers walk in the Spirit moment by moment, serving the Lord and living lives of patience, love, truth, sincerity, and prayer. (Ephesians 4:30-32; Galatians 5:16; Galatians 5:25)

Gifts & Fruit of the Spirit

We believe that the Holy Spirit bestows enabling ministry gifts upon believers, and that these gifts will build up the Body of Christ through edification and evangelism (1 Corinthians 12:1-11); as evidence of a Spirit-filled life, believers should show spiritual “fruit”: love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance. (Galatians 5:22-25)

Moderation

We believe a Christians’ moderation should be obvious to others and that relationship with Jesus should never lead people into extremes of fanaticism; their lives should model that of Christ in uprightness, balance, humility, and self-sacrifice. (Colossians 3:12-13; Philippians 4:5)

Divine Healing

We believe that divine healing is the power of Jesus Christ to heal the sick in answer to the prayer of faith; He, who does not change, is still willing and able to heal the body, as well as the soul and spirit in answer to faith. (Mark 16:17-18; James 5:14-16)

Second Coming of Christ

We believe that the second coming of Christ is personal and imminent; the certainty of His coming and the fact that no man knows the hour of His coming prompt our evangelistic efforts; that the Lord Himself will descend from Heaven, the dead in Christ shall rise, and the redeemed will be caught up to meet the Lord in the air. (Matthew 24:36; Matthew 24:42; Matthew 24:44; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17)

Church
Relationship

We believe that it is our sacred duty to identify ourselves with a congregation of believers with whom we can worship God, observe the ordinances of Christ, exhort and support one another, labor for the salvation of others, and work together to advance the Lord’s Kingdom. (Acts 16:5; Hebrews 10:24)

Civil Government

We believe that civil government is by divine appointment and that civil laws should be upheld at all times except in things opposed to the will of God. (Acts 4:18-20; Romans 13:1-5)

Judgment

We believe that all shall stand before the judgment seat of Christ: the redeemed to be delivered unto everlasting life, and the unrepentant unto everlasting punishment. (Revelation 20:11-12; 2 Corinthians 5:10)

Heaven

We believe that heaven is the glorious habitation of the living God and the eternal home of born-again believers. (John 14:2; Revelation 7:15-17)

Hell

We believe that hell is a place of darkness, deepest sorrow, and unquenchable fire, which was not prepared for man but for the devil and his angels; yet it will become the place of eternal separation from God for all who reject Christ as Savior. (Matthew 13:41-42; Revelation 20:10; Revelation 20:15)

Evangelism

We believe that soul winning is the “one big business” of the Church on earth, and that every hindrance to worldwide evangelism should be removed. (James 5:20; Mark 16:15)

Tithing & Offerings

We believe that tithing and offerings are ordained of God to sustain His ministry, spread the Gospel, and release personal blessing. (Malachi 3:10; 1 Corinthians 16:1-2)

Experiencing His Grace

The truth is this, without the love of Christ we are lost and would never be able to find our way. Since we long to be honest, we must realize that we do not deserve the love of God because we find ourselves in compete rebellion against God. The Good News is that God loves us so much that He sent His own son, Jesus Christ to die in our place. That is why, we say we have our anchor set in grace because there is a penalty for this sin, we find ourselves in. We could never pay that penalty that is against us. That is what makes it grace because you see His provision is totally undeserved. Yet, that grace has the power to change everything.

But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.
(Romans 5:8 NLT)

But God is so rich in mercy, and he loved us so much, that even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead. (It is only by God’s grace that you have been saved!) For he raised us from the dead along with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ Jesus. So God can point to us in all future ages as examples of the incredible wealth of his grace and kindness toward us, as shown in all he has done for us who are united with Christ Jesus. God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago. (Ephesians 2:4-10 NLT)

Entering Into Worship

As we begin to respond to the love of God and respond to this grace we talk about. It is natural for us to feel the need to express that love back to God and we call this worship. We worship through walking in a love and life-giving relationship with God. The more we walk in this relationship and experience this grace we will want to express that love with all of our heart, soul, mind and strength. Worship might include singing, praying and even giving but it might be fully expressed in a complete surrender of our will to God’s will. When it comes to this part of our vision we find a scripture in Romans 12:1-2 that will set this foundation in our lives

And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him. Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. (Romans 12:1-2 NLT)

Belonging to His Family

Another way we might move deeper into this grace, that we are anchored in, is by becoming a part of the family of God. Because of how shattered the concept of family has become in our world we might need to look beyond our culture to see what this might mean. When we talk about family, we mean that we would belong to one another, and that together we might center our lives on Jesus Christ. This would mean we would not be alone, but a part of something bigger than ourselves. This brings us to be solidly anchored as we grow in our love for one another and true brothers and sisters in Christ.

But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God. (John 1:12 NLT)

As Jesus was speaking to the crowd, his mother and brothers stood outside, asking to speak to him. Someone told Jesus, “Your mother and your brothers are standing outside, and they want to speak to you.” Jesus asked, “Who is my mother? Who are my brothers?” Then he pointed to his disciples and said, “Look, these are my mother and brothers. Anyone who does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother!” (Matthew 12:46-50 NLT)

Expanding His Kingdom

This word “kingdom” might seem a little foreign to us unless we refer to a history lesson, a movie or maybe the Bible. However, the Bible talks a lot about this term.

What we mean by this term is sharing the grace that transforms our lives to those around us, those in our city, and even around the world. This is the ongoing work of Christ in our lives that we want to see this take place in people in every part of our existence.

This may include showing mercy and justice to meet the needs in our world. It may include us verbally telling people about how Jesus saved our lives through His death, burial and resurrection. You may want to read for yourselves what Jesus has to say about the kingdom of God.

“The time promised by God has come at last!” he announced. “The Kingdom of God is near! Repent of your sins and believe the Good News!” (Mark 1:15 NLT)

"May your Kingdom come soon. May your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven." (Matthew 6:10 NLT)

"Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need." (Matthew 6:33 NLT)

Pastor Ron & Diane Isam

Pastor Ron and his wonderful wife, Diane, are pictured above from their trip to Hawaii, just before his retirement. Pastor Ron gave his heart to Jesus Christ at the age of 6. At age 12 God called him to preach the Gospel. Ron realized the beginning of that call at the age of 15 preaching his first message at Foursquare Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma under the leadership of Rev. J.A. Driscoll. At the age of 17 he left Tulsa and moved to Los Angeles, California to attend Life Pacific Bible College (LIFE Bible College).
Upon graduation in May 1977, Ron took his first assignment as in intern pastor at Christian Assembly Foursquare Church in Eagle Rock, California serving under Pastor Don Pickerill. In May 1978 Ron and Diane were married and moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma, serving as volunteer youth pastors. After one year of marriage they began in May of 1979 as Full Time-Pastors of Okmulgee Foursquare Church followed by 38 years as a full time senior pastor in various churches around Oklahoma and Texas moving to the OKC, OK area in January 1991 to help with a struggling church in Moore, OK In 1993 Pastor Ron and Diane pioneered New Beginning Fellowship Church in south Oklahoma City. After, just over 22 years of Pastoral Ministry at this location Pastor Ron took an early retirement from full time pastoral ministry in September 2015.
Pastor Ron and Diane have been blessed with 2 sons that serve in the ministry as well. Both boys are married to amazing wives that love Jesus, serve the Lord, and their families. They each and have two children that love Jesus as well. The Isam family is nowhere finished with ministry, it has just taken on a different form since retirement. There are many very exciting things planned for the future of this ministry.
