The first message is entitled, "Trust Is
Valuable." May we learn to lean on and truly trust in the Holy Spirit
to lead us in His Way. One of the things the Lord has been dealing with
me about is that His church is lacking the passion we need for these
last days. It is vital that the church be baptized with the Holy Spirit
and Fire. What seems to be missing is the "fire." May God ignite us
with the passion to serve Him in these very important days in which we
live.
Jesus encouraged us to "Count The
Cost." This is an important concept as we come to talk about the kind
of sacrifice we are to bring to God. David said, "He would not bring to
God a sacrifice that cost him nothing." May that be our theme as well!
We look at the experience of Noah and
how he must have felt when the time came to see if the water had
receded. I am sure they were tempted to ask, "Is Anyone Out There".
Throughout time, it seems like many of
the bad stories in the media are turned towards those who are younger
in our society. Yet, volunteerism, is in abundance among young people.
What I'm learning, as I get older, is that the technology is changing
so fast that I cannot keep up with it. In the last five years, there
has been an abundance of things put on the market I did not even know
was available.
What we have found is exactly what we
find when we choose to live by faith. There is Someone Bigger Than
Ourselves. It is obvious that He is involved in our daily lives, and He
wants to make a positive difference in us. However, it appears there
is a discrepancy in the American church between what we believe and how
we live. Do you believe there in something bigger than you? If so listen to more messages, entitled, "The Big Day"; "Igniting Your Godly Passion Part1 & Part 2"; "What Is The Cost?"; Pursuing His Presence"; "Is Anybody Out There?"; "How We Need To Be Living"; and "Changing Your World."
God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds; who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, having become so much better than the angels, as He has by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they. - Hebrews 1:1-4 NKJV
