Dealing With Lust

     ​This is probably one of the most difficult subjects to talk about! I believe, if this one particular issue is not under the Lordship of Jesus Christ in a very real way in every aspect of our lives, then  it can cause us some serious problems in our faith. The subject of lust is a major issue in our society and in our community. The problem is that we almost always assume that lust is connect to sexual or moral issues. And they are in a huge way! It can be one of the most debilitating issues found in the Bible for people, if they don't deal with it and don't have it under the Lordship of Jesus! It one of the most difficult things to talk about, because it almost always wants to move toward the sexual. Yes, it applies there, but there are so many other places that it applies as well. I came across a quote, and it came with no name. If I could, then I would give them credit.  The quote, reads, "Our aim is not merely to avoid something erotic, but to gain something excellent!"  The messages in this series are entitled, "The Issues Of Lust Part 1 & 2"; and "Living To Please God".
