In 1993 Pastor Ron and Diane pioneered
New Beginning Fellowship Church in south Oklahoma City. After, just over
22 years of Pastoral Ministry at this location Pastor Ron took an early
retirement from full time pastoral ministry in September 2015. Pastor Ron and Diane have been blessed
with 2 sons that serve in the ministry as well. Both boys are married
to amazing wives that love Jesus, serve the Lord, and their families. They each and have two children that love Jesus as well. The Isam family is nowhere finished
with ministry, it has just taken on a different form since retirement.
There are many very exciting things planned for the future of this
ministry.
2016 was the Lord's birth year for Anchor of Grace in Moore, Oklahoma. A smaller but active ministry whose purpose is to present the message of the Good News of Jesus Christ in
such a real way that those who are non-Christians might become
believers who are fully developed Christ Followers. They will in turn
help others become Christians who make disciples. This continued
process would include helping new disciples turn into fruitful
leaders who go into the whole world and preach the Good News of Jesus
Christ.
Scriptures:
Jesus Christ is our Savior, Healer, Baptizer in the Holy Spirit and our soon coming King! Jesus has gone away and prepared a place for us. One day there's going to be a new heaven & a new earth. Paul experienced heaven; even though, he said the he would only boast about his weaknesses. Paul didn't want to get credit for anything (even going to heaven) that was not in his life and in his "Good News" message. In America, if we had a vision in heaven like Paul did; and we started telling the story, then crowds would come and would want to hear about heaven! We would start a world-wide ministry on this vision. Pride would sneak in, and we might take credit! Paul said that he would only take credit for what's in his life and in his message. The thorn in Paul's flesh, from Satan, was God's "pride breaking way" to keep Paul humble in all he did and said. Jesus was a servant of the Father's plan and we must be too! Our power is in our weakness!
NOTE
This
recording has low fidelity. However, the anointing and presence of the
Holy Spirit among the Grace Fellowship believers was
overwhelming. I pray you can overlook the low fidelity, and truly enjoy this message.
Luke 17 is talking about children, but we are all children of God. We are going to talk about overcoming temptation by faith. God wants to prosper and honor us. We don't honor one another enough. Those who do the tempting will have a millstone hung around their neck and cast into the sea. The church has always suffered from the source of temptation within the Christian community cause by unscrupulous members. We need to live as an unspotted person. We need overcoming faith! God wants to prosper and honor us. We plant the seed, and we must let God do the increase. So watch yourselves! “If another believer sins, rebuke that person; then if there is repentance, forgive. Even if that person wrongs you seven times a day and each time turns again and asks forgiveness, you must forgive.”
Scriptures:
The tongue can bring life or death. We must ALL be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to get angry. For human anger does NOT produce the righteousness God desires. So get rid of all the filth and evil in your lives, and humbly accept the word God has planted in your hearts, for it has the power to save your souls. God gave us two ears and one mouth for a reason; therefore, we must listen more than we speak. Our tongue can get us in deep trouble, if we're not careful. Indeed, we all make many mistakes. But if we could control our tongues, we would be perfect and could also control ourselves in EVERY other way.
Scriptures: Ephesians 5:15-33
Marriage is an interesting subject. In America, we don't do well with marriage. It's our responsibility to know what the Lord wants us to do; paticularly, in the area of marriage. Our calling is to be filled with the Holy Spirit every single day. When we're not filled with the Holy Spirit, we will be filled with something else. Paul explains how our marriages must be Spirit guided relationships. The marriage couple must submit to one another out of their reverence for Christ. We are co-heirs to God's special gift of life. (Ephesians 5:15-33)
Scriptures: Matthew 20:20-28; Jeremiah 29:11; Matthew 6:33
How to put leadership in our life! (Matthew 20:20-28) Jesus is approached by the mother of two disciples. She doesn't know what she is asking for. Everything about the Bible; particularlly, the New Testament is about the Kingdom of God or the way God rules on the earth. God has chosen to rule through leaders, you and me, who submit our lives to his Lordship. As we submit ourselves to the Kingdom of God, then we will experience what God has for us. The Bible tells us that God always going to be good. (Jeremiah 29:11) Jesus says "Seek the Kingdom of God above ALL else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. (Matthew 6:33)
